I understand things now. I have a thing for femme fatales. Those mysterious women who are slightly evil, classically sexy, and a part dark. Those women are my role models. The Cat women, the Irene Adler's,  the Elizabeth Taylor's, etc.etc. Those are my women. This is who I want to become.
Not for men. God no. I do not want to be feminine for them. I want to be attractive for my own enjoyment. Who says you can't be classically feminine and not have gonads?

Well its a rainy tuesday!And I get to go to work today! Yay! I teach dance at a local dance studio.

Anyways, due to pintrest I'm trying to find cool hairstyles/pictures. This is what I found! It is beautiful, I can't deny,

Firstly, I am on pintrest check me out with my honest to god real name, not my writing/stage name! Heather Pharis. the site is pintrest.com/heatherpharis. My computer is trying to correct me into me typing pint rest. UGH! Computer fail!
 Secondly, It has come to my attention that there is a dance interpretation of William Faulkner's "As I lay Dying" Faulkner being one of my favorite Southern Gothic writers, and this novel being one of his best (besides my all-time favorite of his The Sound and The Fury!!! Gawsh I cry every time!)

Lastly, I'm OBSESSING over old shows and new tv shows that I apparently have missed. The first being Twin Peaks. I'm already done with the first season and I just started watching it last week! Secondly being  Freaks and Geeks which I started watching due to James Franco, who I love and will eventually marry!  admire as an actor. The newest obsession, which is also the most current show, is BBC's Sherlock. Its a nice balance between the sophisticated mind of Sherlock Holmes, while showing the grittiness of mankind in general.

So I went out with my Man today! I dressed up, and tried curling my hair! First time with this short haircut and went with a more of a beachy wave. Although my hair is naturally pin-straight,The results are quite fantastic.
How I did it:
1. started with damp hair.
2. sprayed with Malibu Heat Surf Waves Hair Mist (Bath and Body Works)
3. dried hair with diffuser and scrunched and twisted certain sections.
4. with dry hair, sprayed hair again with the Surf Waves mist
5. wrapped sections of hair outside of a 1" wide curling iron. without clamp.
6.totally checked myself out for at least 5 minutes.

Totally ordered glasses, and must say I am pleased with my corrected vision. (not pictured here due to construction of those glasses) Tune in next week to check me out with Ernest Hemingway brand tortoise shell glasses!

The queen of quirky I believe has got to be the lovely zooey deschenal (spell check please?) I adore new girl, but I have to say I love her band she & him sooo much more.

I don't know why, but she just would be pastel blue high waisted briefs with little lavender and mint flowers on them.  The little dots are supposed to be mint green but i don't have a marker that color. The line down the middle is supposed to make her look like she is running faster than she actually is.

Kirby likes lace. Kirby would be a banana if she was a fruit, because she is hilarious. Bananas are yellow. So I made a pretty yellow lace tank bra with white pearl buttons on the back. I  like the victorian era dresses with all them buttons that look aggravating to put on and off.

nail polish sucks-Me

Today I've had a  crappy day with nail polish. All Freaking Day.

This morning I was painting my toenails an electric blue and pink when suddenly my cat jumped up on my bathroom counter.

Needless to say, my fingertips will be au natural until I get over this horrendous day. Did I do something to piss off the ghost of Sally Hansen?

Just so you know, sweet little me felt really badass today. Its hard to believe, but I was.

I was at a basketball game and a guy's gum packet fell out of his pocket. So I picked it up and helped myself to a piece of sweet sweet contraband. Yes I'm a gum thief. I'm awesome. My thief in real life would be higher than my thief skills in Skyrim....and that is saying something..
